7-30-17 Kabetogama-Namakan-Ash River Fishing Report   The heat is on Over two weeks now without any rain!   Warm sunny days have water temps up near 80 in most areas of Kab. This is a good time of the summer to spend your afternoons exploring the lake and playing in the water and fishing the early morning and evening time periods. It is very dry so be careful when having campfires and make sure they are completely out when finished eating your smores! A short snell (2-3 ft) tipped with a leech is still producing the most fish. Water temps are well into the 70’s and the 22-26 ft depths have been better as of late. Crawlers should start [...]

2019-09-20T17:52:56-05:00Fishing Report|

6-25-17 Kabetogama – Namakan – Ash River Fishing Report Same story, different week! Unpredictable weather patterns but consistent fishing is still the norm. Wind is still dictating where to find fish and with water temperatures not moving much, fish are fairly predictable. Caleb Walls, Danvers MN 26" Walleye   Once again, follow the wind and you will find fish. This has been a nice pattern for anglers as depending which direction the wind blows, fish of all species can be found. The biggest change in the last week is a fairly significant mayfly hatch has arrived but this [...]
