With boats heading to storage, anglers are missing out on good fishing while most are turning their attention to the woods. With grouse, deer and duck hunting taking most anglers focus from the lake, for those on the water the fishing has been good to excellent. Walleyes are being taken with consistency off island points and bay entrances in 22’-35’ of water using a jig and minnow combination. Ash river is also producing but with some success.
