Fishing Report April 13th

Kabetogama/Namakan Fishing Report 4/13/15

A great finish for an unsettled week of weather. This past week we and 2 ½” of snow Wednesday, a low of 17 degrees for the week and today 72 degrees after a nice 69 degrees Saturday.

Very little fishing activity as the ice is deteriorating rapidly. Late Sunday there was very little shoreline ice, and you can observe several opening in the black water logged ice that remains.

I am thinking the ice may go out before the weekend, looking at the forecast. Water level is quite low as we wait for rainfall.

Get ready for soft water and fishing opener just a few weeks away.

See you very soon,

Phil & Ellen Hart
